Level 3 Strength & Conditioning Trainer Diploma
Nationally recognised and CIMPSA-endorsed, this qualification starts you on your journey towards training athletes to improve their performance and reduce their risk of injury.
This includes learning how to teach and plan sessions for the development of:
Foundation Movement Skills
Energy Systems Training
Strength Based Training
Speed & Agility Training
You will also learn the more holistic perspectives of S&C coaching - how to perform a needs analysis of a sport, design a sport-specific testing battery to identify strengths & weaknesses, work with clients to set goals and design a periodised programme.
You will be required to complete 5 assessments. The first 3 are practical assessment that will be completed at the in-person workshops with your peers.
Following this, you will be required to work with a participant in your own time as if they were a client. The final (online) assessments include presenting to your course tutor on your client’s plan, reflecting on how it went and what you learnt, and completing a self-evaluation and coaching diary.
